5 Years of Time, Your Do[都] Hwa[話] Ji[地]
This year, the Graduation Exhibition Committee of the Department of Architecture at Korea University produced a documentary to capture the story of the students about the past five years spent at the university, with the concept of ‘Do Hwa Ji(drawing paper)’. It was planned as a place to look back on memories from the past five years and share each person's thoughts on architecture and further architectural discourse.

‘Do Hwa ji’, denoting drawing paper, serves as the foundational medium for contemplation, bridging the occurrences of the past and the yet-to-unfold future. Distinguished from other vocations, an architect's drawing paper encompasses three distinct components that collectively constitute the contextual framework: ‘The [Do],’ signifying the urban landscape; ‘The [Hwa],’ representing narrative elements; and ‘The [Ji],’ emblematic of the landscape. This exhibition serves as a platform through which students cultivate their aptitude to translate these contextual nuances into tangible forms, thereby effectuating a metamorphosis from a mere location to a meaningful place.

MINN ׀ selected projects (2022-2023)
「MINN ׀ portfolio + selected projects ('22-'23)」 introduces a selection of idea-based works that author MINN(Rhee Minjae) has conducted in the studio or submitted to several design competitions over the past two years. Five projects introduced in the portfolio start from different sites, but they reveal MINN's unique characteristics of finding potential in that place.
